Sizzling hot new Ultimate Braai Master season premieres on e.tv

9 000 kilometres across the country and across the border, open-fire cooking in some of the country’s most obscure and picturesque settings, unorthodox ingredients and grueling weather conditions: The Ultimate Braai Master has found a new home and premieres on e.tv, Thursday, 11 September 2014 at 8:30PM.
The show is a 13-part series that features Mzansi’s top 15 braai teams - consisting of a Braai Master and a Braai Buddy respectively – in a variety of challenging and innovative outdoor cooking challenge.
The winners take home the title, R500 000 cash and a Renault Duster 4x4 valued at R260 000. They also receive two extra–large Big Green Eggs valued at over R30 000 together with ad unforgettable seven–day guided tour of Kerala in India to the value of R100 000, courtesy of Robertsons Herbs and Spices.

This season the show will introduce a new judge, South African born and world acclaimed Chef Petrus Madutlela who is based in London. Madutlela will join internationally renowned chef Bertus Basson, who was named the 2014 Game Changer by Men's Health magazine.
The show is hosted by Justin Bonello: Cook, traveler, producer and founder of one of South Africa’s leading film production companies, Cooked in Africa Films, which produces The Ultimate Braai Master.

14. Delicious Foodies: a daughter and mother duo from Gordon’s Bay, Braai Master Brigitte Leclercq and Braai Buddy Lynn Leclercq.
15. Joining the 14 teams is Pick 'n Pay’s Wild Card team, Tikka Boys, represented by Braai Master Mohamed Yusuf Sujee from Ottery, Cape Town and his friend and Braai Buddy Stephen Mandes, from Parow, Cape Town.
