Comedian Loyiso Gola has picked up a second International Emmy nomination for his satirical news show Late Nite News with Loyiso. The series was nominated for Best Comedy
last year too so we're holding thumbs
this is the year.
The awards are in their 41st year this year and are happening in New York on Monday 24 November. Their mission is to honour and encourage excellence in television programming outside the United States.
Loyiso's nomination is the only nomination for South Africa unfortunately. Last year MasterChef SA was nominated too but there's no sign of it this year. We're putting in an early prediction that Mzansi Magic's Dragons' Den will get a reality nod next year. It definitely should!
