Survivor: People don't forget how you make them feel

Sabrina delivered the best line of the season on Survivor on Monday night when she said:

"People don't forget how you make them feel."

So, so, SO true! I shrieked from my couch because it was so profound it was trippy. In Survivor, in life, anywhere - it applies to all - it's obviously why the girls have been so successful so far because they've kept this in mind.

It's the reason that Kim's still so popular despite the fact that it's become clear to everyone that she's the strongest competitor. The Burn-You reward challenge was the bomb as per usual - it's my fave challenge every season and it didn't disappoint. The resemblance between the Survivors and the puppets was uncanny and the joy of seeing them burn each other to their skeletons was brilliant.

The only unfortunate thing about it was that the atmosphere didn't get uncomfortable and cringey as it often does because of Troy knowing he was a target. It didn't matter too much though because it set things up perfectly for what's going to be the Katfight.

I agree with Kim, she's definitely made her first mistake. If her and Chelsea are so tight and want to make the final two, she should have taken Kat on the reward challenge instead of Chelsea because Kat was expecting the invite. Chelsea should have sucked-it-up for the cause and Kim should have gone on the challenge with Alicia and Kat, leaving Chelsea to control the others.

But now Kat knows she's not Kim's #1 and it's changed her - all under the watchful arm feathers of Troyzan of course. It's definitely going to have an impact on her loyalty, both now and even on the jury so it's a big problem for Kim.

And Alicia's an even bigger problem. It's beyond impossible to express how truly AWFUL she is. I couldn't believe what I was hearing when she equated the Special Ed children she teaches to someone with an IQ of 0 - how can she possibly be a teacher??!! All the horror memories of her and Colton came flooding back to re-reveal what a monster she is.

We're going to have to suffer her for a while because they aren't getting rid of her anytime soon. Troyzan's right - Kim and Chelsea are obviously planning on taking Alicia to the final three because they know how unlikable she is and that they'll beat her at challenges. A situation I don't mind because the higher you climb, the further you have to plunge and there's no ways she'll win.

Kim's going to have to be very aware of how she makes her feel.

Agree with you about Sabrina's quote Tashi, I was even thinking about it this morning.  Profound indeed.

The girls are really starting to annoy me now, I secretly wished Troy to last a little longer just to annoy them haa.

How I loathe that Alicia, eish.  Cant wait for next week for the Katfights, looks like they'll be gunning for Sabrina??

Never promise people you'll take them on a reward with you.  It often doesn't end well.  Although I suppose Kim can now say she's sorry about that at the final Tribal Council, and sometimes juries like to remorse like that.

I can't get over how they told Christina that they would be splitting the vote and sending a couple her way just in case there was an idol and her being OK with that.  How on earth did she not realise that if the idol was played it would mean that she would be going home?

And bikini-clad women covering themselves in oil - most porno challenge ever?
