Since its inception, Isibaya has had clever tactics on how to create a human touch in their scripts. Almost as great as Saints and Sinners, which is now collecting dust. I got so pissed off when they brought back the Mgijima story line, but I suppose they had to do that to bury it completely. On Tuesday or Wednesday this week I was applauding the way Fizile described his feelings towards his "job". Because for a long time I thought the guy is inhuman. But the way he just got deep into how he wants to hide/bury his heart somewhere and fetch it after killing someone. That was gripping, and I thought his Sarafina would have a change of heart regarding her mission to killing Mancwane, but no. It was like watching Mr&Mrs Smith but the African version. The way they kissed after the gun shooting lessons, how unemotionally romantic and exotic. I had lost hope in the soapie for a while because everyone knows, when a drama becomes a soapie it loses its autheticity.
