SABC3 will provide live television coverage of the ICC Cricket World Cup matches on the forthcoming tournament.
SABC3 will carry 30 of the matches including two Quarter Finals, one Semi final and the Final. The ICC Cricket World Cup Tournament is being played between 13 February and 29 March 2015.
As a result of some of the cricket matches continuing from the previous evening or starting at 5am our feel good breakfast show
Expresso will not be aired on those days. The morning repeat soapie and retro slot will also be affected.
Where matches end at 1.30pm or 2pm the
News @ 1 and
Africa News Update will not be broadcast. Popular soapies such as
Days of Our Lives (5pm),
The Bold and the Beautiful (6pm) and
Isidingo (7pm) will not be affected during the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 Tournament and will air as usual.
Overnight properties that are regularly aired from 23:30 will not be broadcast on evenings when live cricket matches are being broadcast.
Coverage of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 Tournament matches commence at 23:30 and 5am respectively.
