A+E NETWORKS UK PICKS UP US DRAMA BLUE EXCLUSIVELY FOR LIFETIME®AFRICA
A+E Networks® UK has acquired the award-winning US scripted series,
Blue, starring Julia Stiles, exclusively for Lifetime® across Africa.
The original series will premiere in March.
An accountant by day, Blue (
Julia Stiles) is forced to lead a clandestine existence as an escort to help make ends meet. Stiles (
The Bourne Identity, Silver Linings Playbook, Dexter) heads the stellar cast in the title role as Blue, a single mother whose attempts to shelter her son from her secret life takes her deeper into a dark world of deception and danger.
Announcing the acquisition,

Blue has already won a number of awards in the US including Best Directing (Drama) and Best Female Performance in a Drama at the 2014 International Academy of Web Television Awards. The series was also nominated for the Excellence in Production Design Award at the 2014 Art Directors Guild.
