Nickelodeon announces the nominations for the
28th Annual Kids’ Choice Awards.
First time nominees include
Iggy Azalea, Sam Smith, Angelina Jolie, 5 Seconds of Summer, Channing Tatum, Meryl Streep, Meghan Trainor, Chris Pratt, Fifth Harmony, Echosmith, Jessie J, Liam Hemsworth, Elle Fanning, Imagine Dragons, Kira Kosdearin and
Laura Marano.
Kids also picked superstar nominees
Beyoncé, Cameron Diaz, Jamie Foxx, Ariana Grande, OneRepublic, Hugh Jackman, Bruno Mars, Nicki Minaj, Ben Stiller, One Direction, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Jennifer Garner, Maroon 5, Scarlett Johansson and more.
African contemporary talent gets their chance to shine at the
KCAs too, with
Bonang Matheba, Roger Goode, Darren Simpson and
Poppy Ntshongwana competing for
Favourite Radio DJ (South Africa), while up for
Favourite On-Air Personality (Nigeria) are The Big Tyme (Onome Oyaide), Mannie, Gbemi and
Tosyn Bucknor.
The Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards premieres on
Nickelodeon (DStv channel 305)
on Wednesday 1 April at 16:00 CAT (encore performances on Friday 3 April @ 17:00 CAT, Saturday 4 April @ 08:55 CAT and Sunday 5 April @ 13:10 CAT.

Nick Jonas will host the celebration on Saturday, 28 March, taking place at The “Fabulous” Forum in Inglewood, California.
The 2015
Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards will roll out around the world, giving kids around the globe the opportunity to tune into their local Nickelodeon channel to enjoy the show. Voting for the 2015 KCAs will span six continents across 19 localized voting sites in addition to Twitter hashtag voting (#KCA) giving kids practically everywhere the chance to decide who takes home a coveted blimp.
