I'm in heaven sweet reader. In Rrrrrrragnar Lothbrrrrrrrrrrrrok nirvana.
Vikings has returned for Season 3 and it's as spectacular as ever. As you may have seen in the TVSA Premieres, the new season started on M-Net Edge in the early hours of Saturday morning - at 03h00 to be exact - as an express-from-the-US broadcast. I've watched and I'm thrilled because it's everything I imagined it would be and more.
Things begin with Ragnar as King so he's facing much more responsibility than previously - something the show reflects through the grandness of the landscape and how it's captured on film. The way the show captures the visual landscape seems even more dramatic and timeless than previous seasons.
My fave scene of the episode: the Viking ships leaving
Kattegat for Wessex ...
Also very excellent is the fact that Earl Lagertha's sailing with Ragnar and it's clear that their lurve has never diminished. That stick insect who stole Ragnar knows it and deserves every bit of suffering she's experiencing.
If you missed the premiere at the weekend, you can catch it again this Thursday (26 February) - it's airing on Edge again at 20h00.
