Local CSI fans can be part of record-breaking attempt
U.S. TV broadcaster CBS has declared Wednesday 4 March
WORLD CSI DAY, and will embark on a global effort for
CSI to break the
GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® Achievement for “Largest Ever TV Drama Simulcast.”
The event will celebrate 15 years of the
CSI franchise, one of the biggest and most successful in the world, and the U.S. premiere of
CSI: Cyber. The global event will feature a worldwide simulcast of the
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation Season 14 episode “Kitty” which aired as the planted spin-off for
CSI: Cyber, the next generation and fourth series in the franchise.
The episode will air in more than 150 countries and M-Net will be part of this record-breaking attempt. You can catch this simulcast episode in the early hours of
Wednesday 4 March at 02:00 on M-Net channel 101.
CSI: Cyber is a drama inspired by the advanced technological work of real-life Cyber Psychologist Mary Aiken. The show revolves around Special Agent Avery Ryan who heads the Cyber Crime Division of the FBI, a unit at the forefront of solving illegal activities that start in the mind, live online, and play out in the real world.

CSI: Cyber will also be premiering soon on Wednesday 25 March at 21:30 on M-Net.
