Watching The Walking Dead's exactly like being a zombie attacking a human - you just can't enough.
The show knows it and they're catering to the craving by extending the Season 5 finale into a 90-minute blitz. The cool news is that we'll see it as it should be seen - as a proper 90-minute episode instead of two 45-minute disappointments - probably because it's airing on Fox instead of M-Net.
When I first heard that it's an extended special I assumed we'd see it in two parts because of how often it's happened with similar set-ups in the past so I'm very pleased that we're getting the Real Deal treatment with it.
There's still a month of episodes left thankfully - the finale's on 30 March. Of course there's no word on what to expect from it - just this tiny synopsis:
"Daryl finds himself in trouble while out on the run. Meanwhile, in Alexandria, Rick and his group continue to feel like outsiders as danger lurks near the gates."
