What an episode! I've never seen an island of Survivors as desperate, panic-stricken and OUTplayed as they were on Monday. My best was how they were still scrambling like mad things
during Tribal Council - with no shame at all. Lisa espesh - ha! - what's up with her suddenly turning into The Godfather?? The change in her suited the episode purrfectly because it was crammed with emotional changes.
The biggest was that I've turned into a Jonathan fan and I'm shocked because I never imagined I would. Ever. It feels like suddenly realising you've fallen in lurve with someone you never thought of like "that". Jonathan was such an underdog throughout the episode and managed to turn things around so superbly he's become my #1 Favourite. It's made me realise that he's always been an underdog - even in his acting career - so it was a thrill to see him owning everyone and I'm now rooting for him bigtime.
I also had a big change of heart regards Jeff and was pleased he got the chop - he could have been among my favourites but he turned out to be a huge disappointment. He had a lot of potential - he's well liked by the others too - but his biggest mistake was his unnatural obsession with getting rid of the former players.
He's been whining about it for weeks when he would have been much better served to have created a firm alliance with them instead. I was also very annoyed by his bragging in his exit interview - he was a real Mr. "I've got so many MILLIONS already." Puhlease.
Catch my Survivor chatterings every Monday after the show.
