Game of Thrones and presidential comedy Veep took top honours in the headline categories at Sunday night's 2015 Emmy Awards in Tinseltown.
Game of Thrones made Emmy history by bagging the most number of wins in a year. It won eight statues at the Creative Arts Emmys last week and four on Sunday, beating The West Wing, which held the previous record for nine wins in a year.
Everyone knew that Game of Thrones would clean up but Veep was much less predictable considering the fact that Modern Family always hogs the Comedy categories. Go Prez Meyer!
The awards aired live on M-Net in the early hours of the morning and repeat tonight at 19h30.
