Ben asks Paul to appeal to Analine to ask her not to marry David. Will Paul finally tell Analine how he feels? Meanwhile Thandi quits her job as Esme’s assistant sighting: “she will not keep a job she did not earn” Maurice (Lekoane Phasumane) tries to warn Pieter against gambling again.

Episode 67
In Gugu’s absence, Paul and TT are forced to dance to the tune of a new whale (Pieter). It’s time for the annual festival of lights to usher in the festive season and Paul and Analine are at logger heads regarding the planning. Muzi, Thandi, Ravi and Dhanny try to figure out ways to make extra money for Christmas presents.

Episode 68
Ernest (Saint Seseli) and Pieter join forces and start on an unbelievable winning streak at the blackjack tables. Ben suspects that they belong to an underground professional gambling group known as The Stack Sharks.
Paul finds out, when Esme lets slip, that Analine is planning on organizing the annual festival of lights, he is not pleased and orders Analine to cancel.

Episode 69
Ernest wants to keep Pieter in his pocket and comes up with a plan to take the Casino down. Paul gets wind of their plans and comes up with a plan to catch Pieter in the act. Will Paul catch Pieter or will her find a way to outsmart him again?
Muzi (Thabo Andrew Rametsi II) is up to his tricks again. He gets Ravi to help him with some disastrous consequences.

Episode 72
Ernest has taken it upon himself to make a gambler out of Michelle. Pieter tries to warm her. Pieter tries to warn Michelle to stay away. Ravi thinks Dhanny should apply for Gugu’s old job, she doesn’t think it’s a good idea. Ravi does a bit of meddling that gets him into trouble.
Muzi finds an older Zulu man to exploit but he needs Thandi to look after him. She does not and the old man ends up on the Casino floor.

Episode 73
Michelle is caught between Ernest and Pieter, both of them warning her from the other. She then realizes she will be indebted to either one of them in the end. The Kings brothers are at logger heads while trying to choose which of them gets to train the candidates for the “whale hunter” position.

Episode 74
Ernest sets up a high stakes game which conflicts with Michelle’s day job. She has to choose. Will she keep going down the rabbit hole with Ernest?
Dhanny has to prove herself to TT, but her unfiltered nature gets her into trouble and makes him doubt her. Analine has to swallow her pride and ask Thandi for help finding Joseph (Yule Masiteng), the old Zulu man Muzi tried to scam.

Episode 75
Michelle is desperate to escape Ernest’s grasp. Pieter offers to help and he put all his money on the line for her freedom. Paul and TT come up with a plan to truly see who the best candidate would be for the job. They enlist the help of Victor (Merlin Balie) to be their undercover whale.
Esme has to choose between her control freak ways and letting go. Joseph (Yule Masiteng) thinks he broke the machine, but Analine and David need him to fess up so they can pay out R100 000.

Episode 76
Analine wants the family to spend Christmas in the Italian Alps. Their plans have to change when Helena lands up on their door step.
Ben gets a turn to play gaming developer: he develops Esme’s organized and over powering persona. It backfires and has Victor hiding from Ben.

Episode 77
Helena is back and hell bent on getting her family back together. David tells Analine that their holiday is postponed - Analine can sense that Helena is behind this. Helena asks Thandi to keep a secret that Thandi has great difficulty keeping.
TT coaches Dhanny into being a Gugu clone, but when he is lured away from her she has only herself to rely on. Michelle tries to reunite Pieter and his daughter. Things don’t go as planned.

Analine is not pleased when she has to host the Kings and the Mogale’s for Christmas dinner. Will the two families put their grudges aside in the spirit of Christmas?
Victor (Merlin Balie) chooses the new gaming developer. This causes trouble for friends Esme, Ben and Dhanny. Will they too put this aside in the spirit of Christmas? Michelle tries to reach out to Pieter.

Michelle and Talullah go head to head over an audition, but they seem to have aroused someone’s interest. Thandi keeps Helena’s secret from TT, until she can no more. David and Analine are disgusted by Linkie’s new house guest.

There’s a new high roller in town and he’s got his eyes on Michelle, but Talullah is up to her old tricks again. Thandi walks on thin ice with Esme. Linkie introduces Volbroek (Tiaan Kelderman) to her parents, and has a special request for her uncle Paul.

Episode 81
On New Year’s Eve, Talullah’s savage disappointment becomes Michelle’s triumph. TT may have found a daughter, but that which is found, is not always known. Through the trials of Linkie’s new boyfriend, David finds a long hidden lightness.
