The tribal council vote on Monday's premiere of Blood vs. Water was so unbelievably pathetic I could roll my eyes off my face and it still wouldn't be enough to express how pathetic it was.
What a bunch of idiots! Marissa's so much more capable and cool than Tina's wannabe daughter Katie - she's clearly much more of an asset to the tribe and yet they consciously chose to weaken themselves because Marissa's related to Gervase and his "gloating" about his tribe's win.
Marissa even sided with them on it and they knew how she felt about it so targeting her was a mean, non-sensical and extremely shortsighted thing to do.
I honestly can't fathom what they were hoping to achieve. They obviously want to piss off Gervase but that won't achieve anything positive so all they've done is increased the loser factor of their tribe. It also showed that the majority of them judge people based on their families, which I can't
stand.
By keeping Katie they've also maintained a heavy target on their backs because it's clear that Tina's on a mission to prove that she deserved winning her season by beating her daughter.
It's craaaazy how aggro the mothers are with their daughters. All the other former Survivors are loving and yip-de-yay with their loved ones but not the mothers. Oh NO, they're determined to show them what's what and who's who and to beat them. Creepah!
So is the huge similarity between Aras and
Varas Vytas - looking at Vytas is exactly like looking at Aras, except with a bit of a beard that looks as if it's on the wrong face. Did you also feel awks when Aras described him as his abuser?? He seems like such a low temperature spade and yet his demons obviously impacted on Aras bigtime.
It's gonna be interesting to see if he stays on Aras's side or if he ditches him like Candice's husband ditched her. Wowzer - what a traitor! He literally betrayed her from the very first moment and then had the cheek to turn into a cry-baby about it. Clearly she's going to see their marriage in a whoooole different light after this. If she doesn't, she needs to.
