Renewed!
High Rollers has hit the jackpot by scoring another 156 episodes. Season 2 of the drama-turned-telenovela ends in late June and SABC3 has ordered a full third season which means another year of episodes has been guaranteed.
The renewal comes with the addition of new cast to cater to the upcoming storylines, specifically Thapelo Mokoeka (Fear Factor, Generations, Kota Life Crisis) who's been signed by the show.
Thapelo arrives in August and plays Jakes Xaba, described by the series writers as, "A charming, articulate and suave man. He has a private school education, spent time at university overseas and is the ultimate cheeky charmer and chancer - but is he a little too slick for his own good?"
Our answer: Definitely. Anyone too slick is
always too slick.
Another notable development on the Season 3 horizon is the return of Terence Bridgett as gang boss Denton Grootboom. He's going to be in the thick of things, with his villainous eye firmly set on Kings Casino.
To get into the mood for the new season, here's a look at what to expect at the end of Season 2:
