Survivor: Laura M proves to be the perfect mother

Ciera might not have started a mutiny against Tyson this week but she's put herself in the most perfect position to take advantage of it when it happens next week.

I trust the trailer for the first time this season because it's the natural way for things to go now -  it would be absurd if the rest of them don't do something about him soonest.

It was brilliant seeing Ciera taking such control of things and I was super, super, super impressed with Laura too because she revealed that she's the epitome of the purrfect mother.

The independence she gave Ciera was awesome and her attitude was too. She understands that Ciera's independence was a win-win situation for both of them - which too few mothers realise!!

And there's a baby involved too... I was stumped when Ciera mentioned her pregnancy because I didn't have a clue. I forgot about it from her profile because I wasn't nearly as interested in her when the show first started.

Here's a recap of her "Claim to Fame":

Despite the fact that I got pregnant at 17, I am most proud of the fact that I finished high school, worked three jobs to support my daughter, and now I am happily married with two beautiful children.

Impressive and another sign that Laura's the ideal mother because Ciera clearly had her complete support with no judgment.

It's resulted in Ciera turning out confident, happy and the world's best bluffer. Ha! The way she bluffed Katie about the Immunity Idol was true class. It was crazy because she seriously had to trust her instinct that Katie was lying and she reacted so quickly and realistically too - I would have believed her instantly.

And I want to learn the skill so I can do it too. I'm not saying I want use it on everyone - just those who deserve it, which Katie did.

Catch my Survivor ramblings every Monday after the show.
