I must say... Mandla and Lexi's relationship has lasted a lot longer than I anticipated. It's been two years since they were on Big Brother and they're clearly still going strong because they're doing another season of Mandla & Lexi.
They'll be back on Wednesday, 13 July at 20h00 for a new season, which will hopefully be much less contrived and staged than last season.
Remember how cringeworthy some of the scenes were ... like the one where they suddenly held a party at some random house that didn't belong to them, with no explanations as to why.
There was a lot that didn't make sense but the show managed to be entertaining in a trainwreck sort of way so if they've fixed the problems it could be worth a watch.
Word from Mzansi Magic is that the season's going to feature quite a bit of Lexi's family and focuses on Mandla and Lexi as individuals. The press release announcing the news says that people have been wondering if they're going get married. Have you?
I haven't thought about it but I suppose they could be considering it after this amount of time. Oddly enough reality marriages from Big Brother and Survivor tend to be quite successful - reckon it must be because the couples involved go through so many moments where they feel it's them against everyone else.
