Anele’s guest today is someone who loves music and South Africa. In 1982 her life changed when she took a sho’t left through Soweto. She was on a stage when a man announced to the crowd, “Today, today, we are going to marry this ntombazana to Soweto”. “What should we call her?” he asked, and then, the crowd responded as if with one voice: “Thandeka”, “Thandeka”. She is considered by many to be the loved one and is a singer/songwriter who has numerous albums that have gold and platinum.
