At the beginning of the year I decided that 2017 would be my year of b.kool. Written exactly like that.
I have this deep and intense need for things to b.kool and to lookout for cool stuff, espesh when it comes to TV.
And I've just discovered a blissfully cool piece of TV news. AMC, the network responsible for Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, has created a real life, pop-up Los Pollos Hermanos restaurant in the build-up to the new, third season of Better Call Saul, which starts in the US on 10 April.
In case you aren't familiar... it's the restaurant/diner owned by Breaking Bad cult drug lord Gus Fring, played Giancarlo Esposito. He's making his comeback in the new season of Better Call Saul, which is set before his death on Breaking Bad, and the pop-up restaurant is part of the build-up.
It's going to pop-up in Austin, Texas from 10 to 12 March and will serve Gus's famous curly fries - it includes appearances by Giancarlo and Bob Odenkirk, who plays Saul.
Very kewl I thought. Just the sort of thing we need. Lots of South African shows have signature restaurants/bars etc. - they could even do a whole food court. Ha.
Which local or international show's establishment would you most want to go to?
