Having had enough of not hearing from his son, Bill recruits Justin to put out a search for Liam’s whereabouts. Knowing that Quinn is leaving for an extended trip, Wyatt interrupts his honeymoon to pay his mother a visit.
Quinn starts to unravel when she finds Liam holding the sword necklace that she took from him while he was unconscious. Seeing Quinn’s reaction, Liam questions her about what else she has been keeping from him.

Despite having married Wyatt, Steffy reminisces about her times with Liam and wonders where he could be. Bill fears for the worst when Justin’s extensive investigation turned up no sign of Liam.
Wanting to compare notes on where Liam could be, Bill calls Steffy to meet him. Liam begins to remember his past and is able to recall small pieces of his memory, including his name.

Steffy and Bill share their respective theories about where Liam could be and who he could be with. When Bill tells Steffy about Justin’s unsuccessful comprehensive search for Liam, she begins to fear for the worst.
With memories slowly returning to him, Liam specifically remembers Steffy and the love they shared. With Liam’s memory having returned, Quinn fears that she will soon be pursued by the police, or even worse, Bill.

Quinn gets a taste of karma from her tireless scheming, plotting and deception when one of her atrocities comes back to haunt her.
Bill becomes irate when Wyatt informs him of the video footage of Quinn and Liam that he suppressed. Two manipulated and star-crossed lovers reunite on a romantic stretch of a Malibu beach.

Knowing that Nicole is still having a difficult time with her breakup with Zende, Maya and Rick make every attempt to cheer her up. Sasha’s heart breaks when Julius clearly chooses to side with Nicole’s happiness rather than hers.
Admitting that his mother has gone too far, Wyatt supports Bill’s decision to call the police on Quinn. Liam describes to Steffy the time he spent with Quinn and how she was able to manipulate him.

When Maya confronts Zende about his feelings for Nicole, he makes a surprising and unapologetic confession. Despite Nicole’s inconsolable sadness, Sasha asks her once best friend to please be happy for her budding relationship with Zende.
Steffy is appalled when Wyatt comes clean about the information that he withheld from her regarding Liam and Quinn. Bill and Katie keep Liam preoccupied while Wyatt and Steffy decide on the right time to tell Liam that they are married.

What was meant to be a quiet lunch at Il Giardino for Ridge and Caroline quickly becomes an unpleasant experience when they have another run-in with Dr. Wolin.
Also at the restaurant, Katie proves to Bill that she does not have a drinking problem when she turns down a cocktail to accompany her meal.
While exiting the restaurant, overheard threats exchanged between Ridge and Dr. Wolin causes Katie to become curious about the situation.

Having found Katie’s stash of hidden alcohol, Bill questions Brooke about how long she has known that his wife is still drinking. When Dr. Wolin tells Katie about his suspicion that Ridge is not Douglas’ father, she threatens him from ever using this information for blackmail.
Ridge attempts to calm Caroline’s anxiety when he confesses about Dr. Wolin and his accusation regarding Douglas’ paternity. Still dumbfounded by her intense conversation with Dr. Wolin, Katie is blindsided by Bill and Brooke regarding her drinking.

Now that Liam is home and piecing his life back together, all he wants to focus on is getting Steffy back in his life. Knowing that Caroline has had anxiety about Douglas’ paternity being exposed, Ridge calms her fears that their greatest threat is no longer a problem.
Noticing that Katie is asking a lot of questions about him, Ridge warns her to stay out of his business. Steffy is reluctant to agree when Wyatt suggests that they go through with their plan to get matching tattoo wedding bands.

Bill summons Deacon to his office and interrogates him regarding Quinn’s whereabouts, but doesn’t get the information he was hoping for. Having witnessed the destruction that Quinn has caused in his sons’ lives prompts Bill to seek revenge.
Liam pulls out all of the stops as he plans a romantic dinner for Steffy in the hopes of wooing her back into his life. Deacon learns the extent of Quinn’s feelings for Quinn when he asks her to run away with him.

Deacon attempts to talk some sense into Quinn by reminding her that she has no future with Liam. Caroline pays a visit to Wyatt to check on the state of his marriage now that Liam is back in Steffy’s life.
Quinn is determined to see Liam and beg for his forgiveness. Despite their passionate history together, Steffy shows Liam just how committed she is to her marriage with Wyatt.

Confused by Sasha’s slip of the lip, Nicole asks for clarity and demands the truth behind the peculiar word she chose. Sasha tries her best to avoid telling Nicole the truth, but is unsuccessful in doing so.

Unaware of what is bothering her crying daughter, Vivienne attempts to console a distraught Nicole. Katie becomes suspicious of Ridge’s part in Dr. Wolin’s death when she discovers startling information regarding the accident.
Sasha stands her ground with Julius as he reprimands her for her actions. Ridge is no longer able to maintain a lie when Katie presents him with evidence regarding the truth.

While Quinn tells him about her visit with Liam, Deacon realizes the extent of the feelings that she developed for “Adam”. Caroline quickly regrets the personal conversation she is having with Katie about her and Ridge’s marriage.
Katie has harsh words of advice for Caroline and Ridge about what she feels is the right thing to do regarding Douglas. As Bill focuses his energy on seeing that Quinn goes to jail for holding Liam captive, Liam sets his sights on getting Steffy back.
