Our favourite sleepy anchor Ayanda-Allie Paine has spent her early mornings on SABC2 and Power FM over the past three-and-a-half years and now she'll be waking up on eNCA.
Ayanda left eNCA for Morning Live in late 2013 and returns to the channel this Saturday (6 May) to anchor a new breakfast show Weekend Wake Up.
It's going to air on Saturdays and Sundays from 07h00 to 10h00 and will mix important news from the week with a breakfast cocktail of lifestyle topics including sport, entertainment and family living.
Ayanda's discreet about her past gigs but has this say:
Ayanda: “Having started my television career on the channel (eNCA) and then venturing out onto other platforms, it seemed like a natural progression for me to go back to an environment filled with the kind of quality, integrity and professionalism to which I had grown accustomed.”
