The boerewors hasn't cooled down after Season 5 yet and already the search has begun for contestants for Season 6.
Ultimate Braai Master 5 wrapped on e.tv on Sunday (30 April) and was won by team Salty Flames, made up of Chanel Marais and Nick, who got lucky with the positive surname of Perfect. They had no previous braai experience but managed to beat professional chefs and butchers to the win and scored themselves these prizes:
R400 000 in cash.
R200 000 worth of Game vouchers.
A new Suzuki Grand Vitara valued at R400 000.
The title of Ultimate Braai Masters.

The format
The series is a braaing cookey challenge featuring teams of two who travel to different parts of the country and compete against each other by cooking different dishes on the open flame.
One team is eliminated each week.
The series is hosted by filmmaker and chef Justin Bonello.
Entry must knows
You and your braai partner have to be over 18-years-old.
You need to be a South African citizen.
You can also have South African permanent residency and a valid passport.
You must be prepared to declare if you have a criminal record.
Both you and your proposed Braai Partner should be prepared to take 6-7 weeks off work should you be selected as a contestant. The show takes a 7-weeks to film, but you could only be away from your workplace for 1-week, it all depends on how you progress in the contest. If the series wants you for the show, the production will assist with your employer if needs be.
