M-Net's new Binge channel took on the surreal quality of its debut show at the weekend when episodes of Twin Peaks mysteriously disappeared on people's PVRs.
Various episodes of the series failed to record when subscribers set their PVRs to record every episode on the channel - different episodes were impacted for everyone.
Turns out the glitch had to do with the safety net settings on the PVR - where you set the gap between recordings to between 1 and 10 minutes. Because the episodes aired immediately after each other, this time gap got in the way and prevented all the episodes recording as they should.
A long story short: the technical team at DStv has been working on a solution and all of the episodes will be airing again, with a larger time gap between them. If you've set a series record on your PVR for it, you'll need to reset it.
Season 1's episodes will repeat tonight (11 May) from 21h30 and Season 2, episodes 1 - 9 will air on Friday night (12 May) from 21h30.
The rest of the season will broadcast at the weekend, as previously scheduled like so:
