The Queen has become one of the most sought after gigs in Mzansi and Thato Molamu is the latest actor to score a role.
The former Generations star, who headlined Mzansi Magic's Greed & Desire and e.tv's Umlilo last year, takes on the role of a legal eagle in the upcoming, extended season.
As all loyal Queen subjects know, the show extends to five days a week from Monday, 31 July when Season 2 premieres.
Thato plays Bakang, a successful up and coming prosecutor, described by the show as: "Good looking, charming and a hit with women. There’s more to this sharp-shooting lawyer than meets the eye - as the Maake family is about to find out."
Also joining the show for the new season: Rami Chuene (Scandal!, Muvhango, Harvest), who will play Gracious, a wealthy woman who has no class.
Magic Hlatshwayo (Skeem Saam, Broken Vows, Gaz'lam) will return to reprise his role as Alpheus, Kwanele’s (Kay Sibiya) supportive father who will try to help his son find his feet again.
This from Mzansi Magic about the new season...
Kagiso starts a war against his family, but will he be able to see it to the end? Meanwhile, Harriet’s empire comes under threat from new fronts, and Kea is the hero who saves a loved one from a dangerous situation.
