Phat Joe bounces from RGB

We all wondered about it, The Real Goboza told us it wasn't going to happen and now wham! Phat Joe is off the show.

TVSA can reveal that Phat Joe has left his seven year hosting gig after taking an extended break from it over the past few months.

As you probably know, he's done a duck and dive to DStv, where he's currently hosting the former SABC1 dating show Take Me Out Mzansi on Vuzu Amp.

The news of Joe's Rexit (RGB exit) comes shortly after his resignation from East Coast in Durban where he caused mayhem for a year.

It's hardly likely that he's going to be kept busy enough by hooking up strangers on TV so what's next for him?

Idols? Is he the new Gareth Cliff for the live shows following his stint as a guest judge this Sunday?

TVSA asked Mzansi Magic who said that this won't be happening and that there will only be three judges once the live shows start so we'll have to see. RGB told us Phat isn't leaving so a story changes fast in the entertainment industry.

There's no confirmation on who will replace Joe on RGB yet.

Donovan is doing great phat joe lost his mojo on RGB long tym ago. well im kind mad he left EcrDrive cz i liked the show ..

Wow haven't watched RGB since 2012/13. Didn't know that one of the Goliaths was on there now. Why is Mzansi Magic being like this? Joe would've been sublime on Idols. Oh well.

@dezi Joe was good on sunday on idols .i like his honesty .maybe they will add him next season since everyone liked him

i beg to differ with you about joe being gr8 on idols..i mean somizi already there for judging personality(star quality )..Randall/unathi are there for technique. .donald would make a gr8 judge cz his fair just like Gareth was and knows potential. .. you'd think im crazy bt Randall is a horrible judge aside telling like it is..1st he judge people people based to song/artist they sing,like he would say i hate that song.. seriously you judge sm1 based to his/voice not compare him with other artists. he often sits there just say no no no no just for people to know his hard to please. he always likes more horrible singers

But @qavile was annoying as guest judge to me .he went on and on .like just give commentary and move on .Unathi likes to be deep ,imagine having her and Donald there .it would be torture .lol maybe i cant stand little Donald

I agree Max, Donald issa NO. Somizi is amazing but we are used to having 4 judges and Joe would've been refreshing.
