It was banned by the SABC during Hlaudi Motsoeneng's dictatorship,
e.tv rescued it for Seasons 5 to 7 and now The Big Debate is back on SABC2 with Redi Tlhabi at the helm once again.
Redi hosted seasons 2 and 3 and returns for this new six episode season which premiered last week Saturday (25 November 2017).
Tonight's episode tackles the topic of radical economic transformation in South Africa and will be simulcast on SAfm. An extended version of the episode will be available on the SABC Digital News YouTube channel after the broadcast.
