Suspense, love, revenge and hidden secrets threaten to overturn everything in the second season of the atmospheric Swedish crime thriller Modus.
The season begins with US President Helen Tyler (Kim Cattrall) on a state visit to Stockholm where she mysteriously disappears.
Amid intensive police work, there is a power struggle between a panic-stricken US and Sweden as the threat to one of the world's most powerful people rocks the whole world.
Inger Johanne and Ingvar are drawn into the pursuit for the truth, but soon it is clear that no one can be trusted.

But everything is turned upside-down when Warren Shifford, Inger Johannes' former mentor from the FBI and the right-hand man of the president, shows up.
