DStv's Mzansi stable of channels announced a slate of renewals for 2019 today, along with a selection of new January titles.
The announcement was made at DStv's 2018 Showcase, at MultiChoice in Randburg.

Yobe (for Season 2) (Premieres Tuesday, 8 January)
iKhaya (for Season 2)

Papa Penny Ahee (For Season 3)
iKhaya premieres on Monday, 7 January at 20h00 and sees one of Eddie's wives asserting herself as the main wife.
Of course some of these will no doubt premiere on 1Magic first, even though they're positioned as Mzansi Magic shows.
Goodbye Joziburg, hello KZN
A new Sunday night series called eHostela kicks off the new year on Mzanzi Magic, from Sunday 6 January at 20h00.
Following in the footsteps of Uzalo and Imbewu: The Seed, the cameras roll in KwaZulu-Natal for this new drama that centres round a young KwaMashu hitman who wants to make it as a Maskandi musician.
Spin-offs
Interesting to note is that two of Mzansi Magic's most popular reality shows have landed spin-offs in other African countries.
Zimbabwean weddings get a look-see in the Zimbabwean version of Our Perfect Wedding and Botswana will be getting their own version of Date Our Family, which will air on the Zambezi Magic TV channel.
Lerato Mvelase: Mzansi Wethu's new relationship coach
Lerato will be hosting a new Fix My Love-type reality series on Mzansi Wethu called Seng’Khathele, which premieres on Saturday, 19 January at 19h30.
It features troubled couples 'fessing-up to how unhappy they are with their "worse" half, with Lerato assisting them to find closure.
No drought for 1Magic's The River
Yip!
The River's been renewed.
Season 1 ends on 26 January 2019 and will be followed by Season 2.
Fake boobs bounce back
The Real Housewives of Johannesburg will be back on 1Magic for more antics in Season 2.
