So today is D-Day.
Season 5 of Generations: The Legacy starts tonight (26 November) with the arrival of a new character Crazy J.
You've seen him
in the teasers, but who is he?
We know who's
Out of Season 5 but who else is In?
First up we have Cray-Jay, played by actor-on-the-rise Paballo Mavundla:
Paballo made his TV debut in July this year, as one of the starring cast on Mzansi Magic's supernatural drama series The Herd.
He only graduated from the National School of the Arts last year so he's landing flashy gigs with speed.
He's a cousin to the Morokas who's been sent to Joziburg after throwing his name away in Rustenburg.
He's a troublemaker, a misbehaver, who rubs people up the wrong way, especially when he decides he's here to stay.
He's given an ultimatum of either going back to school or getting a job and he chooses an internship at Ezweni, where he shakes things up.
And in the next two weeks we meet...
.... Ayanda, played by Samela Tyelbooi.
Samela landed her big break as Lois Gumede, one of the stars on the SABC1 gal pal drama series Society.
Before that she had a cameo role on... the show formerly known as Generations. Yip! It was her first role on TV - she played a journalist in the mid-2000s.
Flash-forward over 10 years and she's playing Tau's former flame. The flame that he ditched for Karabo (Connie Ferguson) so it's not like she's got any issues, LOL.
She had a romance with Tau over 15 years ago and when he chose Karabo over her she went off to start a publishing company where she launched successful magazines.
She arrives in town to launch a new social media division for her business and to make a name for herself.
Is she Tau's new Karabo? Does she want to be?
