The 91st Academy Awards ceremony will honour the best films of 2018 and will take place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California. It is the first time since 1989 that there will be no host of the event.
The awards will air live on M-Net Movies Premiere at 03h00 on Monday morning. The delayed broadcast airs on M-Net on Monday night (25 February) at 21h00. There's also a Red Carpet special airing on M-Net Movies Premiere at 20h30 on Monday, 25 February (before the rebroadcast), hosted by Anele Mdoda.
The Favourite and Roma lead the nominations this year with 10 each, followed by A Star is Born and Vice (8), Black Panther (7) and BlacKkKlansman (6).
