She was soapieville's Queen of Evil from the start of Isidingo back in 1998 and now she's making a mad-dash-comeback for the soapie's 21st birthday.
Prepare for the return of Cherel de Villiers-Haines-Le Roux-Kumar-Holmes, reprised by Michelle Botes.
The soapie's legendary whackjob villain will be back for Isidingo's 21st birthday celebrations in July and TVSA has the inside scoop on what to expect.
Cherel's scenes are being filmed as we speak and this is what she looks like behind-the-scenes, in the make-up room before filming (tweeted by Isidingo):
Her scenes are part of two special birthday episodes airing on Friday, 5 July and Monday, 8 July, sandwiching the soapie's official 21st birthday on Sunday, 7 July.
Both episodes are filming today (18 June) and they break-away from the current action, with special footage, storylines etc. to mark the occasion.
Word from Isidingo's publicist Catherine Sidyiyo is that Cherel will reveal secrets that audiences have been dying to know for years.
Cherel's shenanigans made her one of the most memorable soapie characters of all time and her return brings back nostalgic memories.
Who can forget the episode where she went out in a blaze of mad gibberish before they shipped her off to the mental asylum in 2007? It was of national importance!
Here's a blast to the past for you to relive some of her mojo:
