Amid shifting times, two women kept their decades-long love a secret. But coming out later in life comes with its own set of challenges.
A Secret Love tells an incredible love story between Terry Donahue and Pat Henschel, whose relationship spans nearly seven decades.
Terry played in the women's professional baseball league, inspiring the movie A League of Their Own. But the film did not tell the real-life story of the women who remained closeted for most of their lives.
This documentary follows Terry and Pat back to when they met for the first time, through their professional lives in Chicago, coming out to their conservative families and grappling with whether or not to get married.
Facing the hardships of aging and illness, their love proves resilient as they enter the home stretch.

TX Time: 21h00
Genre: True Crime, Docu-Drama, Documentary Series
Using the urgency and intimacy of local news footage, this series tells more stories of murder investigations that turned small towns and communities upside down.
Through TV news reports, family photos, and police archive, TV reporters, family, friends, and investigators recount the stories of families and communities affected by shocking crimes.
Cases this season include that of the 27-year-old mother who disappears from a small holiday town in Wisconsin, devastating the tight-knit community.
There's also the 17-year-old social media star and high school athlete who vanishes along the infamous Route 29; and the 21-year-old shot to death in a safe haven community for gay people in Minneapolis, which turns out to be hunting ground for a serial killer.
These chilling cases and more prove that sometimes the smallest towns are the settings for the most horrendous crimes.

Murder to Mercy: The Cyntoia Brown Story
Channel: Netflix South Africa
TX Time: 10h00
Genre: Documentary, True Crime
After 16-year-old Cyntoia Brown is sentenced to life in prison, questions about her past, physiology and the law itself call her guilt into question.
In 2004, 16-year-old Cyntoia Denise Brown was arrested in Nashville, Tennessee, for murdering a 43-year-old man who picked her up for sex.
She was tried as an adult and sentenced to life in prison — Cyntoia's fate seemed sealed.
The film shows the complexity of a child who was the product of three generations of violence against women in her biological family.
And how in 2019, after nearly 10 years of legal challenges, Governor Bill Haslam granted her request for clemency.
He did so following a slow shift in the state for legislative change in juvenile sentencing laws and having seen evidence of her maturity, education and good behaviour as a prisoner.
