Whoa... The Queen's been going berserk with the announcement of new castings since #TheFergusonsMustFall hashtag created a Twitterquake towards the end of April.
The hashtag was because of all the cast who've left the soapie in a blast of scandal, cagey social media posts and suspicions that cast members (e.g. Rami Chuene and Dineo Moeketsi) have been unfairly treated by the series producers Ferguson Films.
One moment the hashtag was trending and the next the production was announcing new cast, namely: Jessica Nkosi, Menzi Ngubane, Kuli Roberts, Rosemary Zimu, the return of SK Khoza and now... long-time Generations furniture Rapulana Seiphemo.
He'll be playing Hector Sebata, a high-ranking police officer described as "a wolf in sheep’s clothing", charming and ambitious.
He's also father to Jessica Nkosi's character Thando.
He enters the world of Tembisa on a mission to infiltrate the narcotics trade and shakes things up for the Khoza family.
While Tau disappears from Generations: The Legacy.
It seems
extremely probable that Raps is leaving Gen because Jessica Nkosi left Isibaya for The Queen, AND his role on The Queen is a lead role.
We'll keep you scoop-da-looped once we get a confirm on this.
He starts shooting on The Queen in July.
Season 5 premieres on 27 July.
