The fifth season of Getroud met Rugby premiered on kykNET on Monday (20 July) with a notable new addition: Theodore Jantjies,
who left 7de Laan's Hillside late last year.
Theo plays the new Stryders' coach Jordan James, who carries a dark passenger.
Jordan suffered a tragedy in his past and shelved it by moving to New Zealand to live and work and escape it.
He returns to South Africa, gets the job as Coach - which he's grateful for - and he soon gets steamy with someone.
In this video interview
here Theo describes Jordan as a "36-year-young-man" who's focused on his work, very pedantic and OCD.
Jordan and his impact are a headline attraction on the new season but there are also other new characters and storylines for fans to lookout for.
