A slick, sly scammer - that's what he is.
He's also a Zungu. Mpiyake's brother who charms unsuspecting people with the tip of his hat.
And he's brought to life by Thulani Mtsweni (Isidingo, Gomora, Rhythm City), who arrives on Isibaya this Thursday (22 October) in the role of Mpihlangene Zungu.
Here's a blow-by-blow of what we know about him:
1. He's Mpiyakhe’s youngest brother and the last born, so he has that entitled attitude some last borns have.
2. He's charismatic and charming, which he needs to be because they're important tools in a con-man's kit.
3. He arrives to take care of Mpiyake's family after Mpiyake makes
"the ultimate sacrifice" on Wednesday night.
But this desire to take care of the family is only his cover story.
4. He's a master at using words to manipulate people. Whereas Mpiyakhe uses his presence and command to get his way, Mpihlangene uses his words.
5. The truth behind his cover: he wants to benefit from Mpiyakhe’s legacy.
6. This isn't the first time Thulani's been on Isibaya. He played the guest role of Godfrey on Season 2 back in 2014/15.
