Special notes
Disrupting 18h30
e.tv's Durban Gen swept into the 18h30 timeslot with surgical precision in its debut month, attracting 1,551, 450 viewers for its most popular episode on 21 October - almost the same viewership as SABC2's #3 show 7de Laan (1,611,692).
And it appears to have lured Skeem Saam viewers. It's down by 800,000 viewers on
last month.
Skeem Saam may need to visit Durban Gen for some repairs.
When shows should make the list but don't
These listings have the incorrect parameters yet again so it's clearly become the "new normal" now.
They're only supposed to reflect the viewership of Primetime shows between 17h30 and 22h00 but the Broadcast Research Council keeps including daytime shows.
This means there are primetime shows that aren't getting the recognition they should i.e. it looks as if they haven't made the Top 20 primetime list but they would have if the list was compiled according to the correct parameters.
