TX Time: 08h00

Moving Houses

Join Clarke Gayford as he follows daring Kiwis on the ultimate reno recycling project - moving must-have homes to picture-perfect New Zealand destinations.

With a breathtaking combination of science and engineering, and jaw-dropping home renovation and design, each episode showcases a single action-packed move.

It's a dramatic journey as charming cottages, historic villas, and sleek designer pads are uprooted, chain-sawed into pieces, and trucked through some of the country's trickiest terrain.

It takes nerves of steel and state-of-the-art technology to guide these oversize loads down narrow roads, under drooping powerlines, and around tight corners - all in the dead of night.

And with homeowners' dreams and assets literally on the line, the crew is determined to complete their mammoth mission before sun-up.

Featuring impossible deadlines, impassable roads, and inspiring human stories, it's the ultimate off-road home renovation adventure from the makers of Grand Designs New Zealand.

In the series premiere: Leonie and Brendon bought a spectacular 110-year-old villa online and now have a big challenge on their hands.

The house has to be moved off its site in a month - and they don't yet have a relocation company to move it or a piece of land to put it on.

Each episode sees one celebrity guest presenter undertake a journey through British culture and history, to find out how and why these subjects have become so embedded in the collective psyche and national identity.

Featured in the series will be Harry Hill, getting under the skin of the famed British sense of humour.

Chris Packham will be talking about the British love of pets.

Liza Tarbuck will guide us through the national obsession with all things weather-related.

Madness frontman Suggs will be our expert guide to Britain's pastime of drinking and fondness for pubs.

American comedian Reginald D Hunter (joined by class "warrior" Alexei Sayle) will peel away the thin veneer that disguises Britain's enduring class system and the part played within it by the Royal Family.

Lorraine Kelly will explain the continual harking back to Winston Churchill and the part played by Britain in the Allied victory in World War II.

In the series premiere, "Harry on Humour": Harry Hill explores why the British think they have a better sense of humour than anyone else in the world, and in particular the Germans.

Harry questions why the Brits think it's so important to have a good belly laugh and, with the help of experts such as Dr Sharon Lockyerof Brunel University, delves into the colourful worlds of pantomime, Punch and Judy, slapstick, and European comedy.

Harry meets up with other comedians, including Germany's comedy ambassador to the UK, Henning Wehn, to find out what having a sense of humour means to Brits, and what the future of comedy in the UK looks like.

Along the way he is joined by the likes of Bonnie Langford, Nida Manzoor, Paul Wheeler and trailblazing comedienne Holly Burn.
