Channel: BBC Brit (DStv 120)
TX Time: 17h00
Genre: Quiz Show
Ross Kemp has turned his hand to quiz show hosting for the first time as presenter of the nail-biting series Bridge of Lies.
The actor and presenter, known for his role as Grant Mitchell in EastEnders as well as presenting a number of critically-acclaimed documentaries, will preside over teams of contestants as they compete for cash by crossing the Bridge – a collection of stepping stones featuring various truths and lies based on general knowledge categories.
Each player must try to safely step on the truths and avoid the lies, or risk falling off and out of the game.
Once they've conquered the Bridge on their own, successful contestants will join forces to face the dramatic final crossing for a chance to take home some cash.
In the series premiere: Family team of four - Anita, Rajan, Bobby and Sanj - take on the Bridge of Lies.
One by one they all face the Bridge, choosing who faces each crossing depending on the question category.
Each Bridge crossing has 32 potential steps including 22 truths and 10 lies.
They must cross the Bridge by stepping on the truths and avoiding the lies, earning money for each correct answer.
Step on a lie and the Bridge will halve their money. Step on three lies and they are out of the game.
There is always a safe path across the Bridge, they just have to find it.
Once they have each faced the Bridge on their own, those who have been successful will join forces to face the final crossing for a chance to take home the cash.

TX Time: 20h00
Genre: Drama, Medical Drama
Transplant follows the story of Dr. Bashir "Bash" Hamed, a talented doctor and Syrian refugee, who fled his war-torn country with his younger sister Amira for a fresh start in Canada.
After a truck crashes into the restaurant where he's been working, Bash earns the chance to practice medicine again by using his field-honed skills to save multiple lives in brilliant fashion, including that of Dr. Jed Bishop, the chief of Emergency Medicine at York Memorial Hospital in Toronto.
But Bash is told he'll need to redo his residency in Emergency Medicine from the bottom and despite his obvious talents, intuition and training, starting over is not an easy road and his life experience is not a perfect match for the strict protocols at York Memorial.
Through perseverance he makes inroads, developing camaraderie with his new colleagues, including the driven Dr. Magalie "Mags" LeBlanc, the reserved and ambitious surgical resident Dr. June Curtis, easy-going pediatric ER physician Dr. Theo Hunter, head nurse Claire Malone and even earning the respect of Dr. Wendy Atwater, the department's second-in-command who runs a very tight ship.
Jed Bishop, the team's demanding, inscrutable boss, looms large and keeps everyone on their toes with a unique compassion and commitment to his staff that also connects them.
Filmed in Montréal, Season 3 finds Bash continuing on his journey to start over, but with each new milestone comes a new challenge.
While pursuing Canadian citizenship for both himself and his younger sister Amira, Bash closely examines who he is becoming in his adopted country.
Bash is still being asked to repeatedly prove himself, and while he and his colleagues work to move forward following the dramatic conclusion of Season 2, everyone finds themselves looking to adapt to change and understand how they fit in, both within and beyond the walls of York Memorial Hospital.
Joining the cast as a series regular is Rekha Sharma (Battlestar Galactica, Yellowjackets) as Dr. Neeta Devi, the new Chief of Emergency Medicine who comes to York Memorial Hospital with big ideas.
