The 7de Laan cast celebrate their Viewer Vote success
Ceremony host Mpho Popps
The 2023 Royalty Soapie Awards were held at The Galleria in Sandton on Saturday evening (11 March) and delivered honours to soapieville in 23 categories, with four special awards.
The ceremony wasn't broadcast live yet again - it's going to air on SABC1 on Saturday 25 March at 20h00.
1Magic's The River headlined the winner's accolades with a total of five wins, followed by e.tv's House of Zwide and Mzansi Magic's Gomora, with four each.
Binnelanders won the Outstanding Daily TV Drama category and 7de Laan fans rallied to vote it Most Popular Show.
