Thandiswa arrives at Martha's hotel and is met with curiosity. Nomeva visits the funeral parlour and insists on a vigil for Samson. Jaxon, Caesar and Mthetho toasts to a new beginning at emnyameni.

Samson's funeral gets underway after a grand procession. Mandla leads it, thinking it will be his moment to shine, but Nomeva steals the limelight when she demands the casket be opened.

Mandla is consumed with guilt for covering up Samson's murder. Leroy, Candace and Mamiki are intrigued by Thandiswa. Jaxon claims Thandiswa for himself. Leroy warns Thandiswa about Jaxon.

Nomeva knows what to do next after Samson comes to her in a dream. Jaxon explodes when he discovers that Caesar gave himself majority ownership of the depot.

Thandiswa is drawn to Nomeva. Mthetho assures Caesar of Mandla's trustworthiness. Sakhile is suspicious when Mandla is summoned to Caesar's office. Leroy announces Luthuli's death.

Thandiswa tries to leave Nomeva's place, but she convinces her to stay with uncanny insight into Thandiswa's history. After Nomeva explains her gift, Thandiswa shares why she is really in Emnyameni.

Dlozi threatens Mpendulo and slices him with his knife. Caesar and Mthetho recognise that Sakhile is a problem they need to deal with. Mandla airs his frustrations about Sakhile to Lulu.

Mpendulo shows up in Emnyameni and tells Thandiswa that they can't go back to Yeoville. Nomeva offers them a place to stay. Caesor informs Sakhile of his demotion.

Sakhile moves ahead with his plan for revenge. Mandla pulls rank over Sakhile at the depot, but he doesn't react, which frustrates Mandla. Caesar doesn't attend Luthuli's funeral.

Virginia isn't chuffed when Caesar informs her that Thandiswa asked him for an emergency lift to Joburg. Mamiki is envious when Petunia and Sindi get hefty tips from Pollu.

Sakhile points a gun at Caesar's head, but he can't pull the trigger. Thaniswa comes to set things right with Caesar and he finds out that Virginia warned her off. Thandiswa offers Leroy a cash injection for the salon.

Sakhile confesses to Nomeva that he almost killed Caesar. Nthabiseng finds Sakhile's gun hidden in the wardrobe. Pollux discovers that some of his money has been stolen.

Nthabiseng confronts Sakhile about the gun. Mamiki, Petunia and Sindi decide to return the money they stole. Nomeva observes the closeness between Thandiswa and her son.

Mamiki's insistence that Pollux doesn't know about the money is promptly proven wrong when he shows up at the bar. Nthabiseng worries about Sakhile's behaviour.

Jaxon thinks Thandiswa is playing hard to get when she rejects the sport car he bought her. Nthabiseng is humiliated in public and is furious with Sakhile. Petunia wants to return the money they stole from Pollux.

Nomeva warns Thandiswa about how dangerous Jaxon is. He pays Thandiswa another visit at the salon and physically assaults her. Sakhile buries the gun in his back yard.

Mthetho is forced to go to Nomeva's compound to get Thandiswa's statement, but she refuses to give one. Leroy deduces that Thandiswa doesn't want to report Jaxon because she's running from the law.

Caesar and Mthetho caution Jaxon about keeping up his public image. Juba is jealous of Mpendulo getting close to Nomeva. Pollux toys with Petunia. Candace asks Virginia for a lunch date.
