The war between Mzansi Magic and Wethu

Also, Idols SA makes an appearance in DStv's Top 30 this month - the first time this season, but only on Mzansi Wethu.

The war between Mzansi Magic and S3

Idols is a no show on Mzansi Magic on Saturday evenings (from 18h00 to 19h30) while The Masked Singer SA continues to climb the ratings on S3 between 18h30 and 19h30 on the same night.

Binge watching Sibongile & the Dlaminis

Mzansi Wethu's new telenovela makes an appearance in the Top 30 for the first time but not in it's primetime slot but rather the omnibus on Saturdays. Similar to The Estate when it was on S3.

Phil on Twitter/X alleged Miss SA on SABC 3 got 1.08 million viewers. So he lied? Wow!

@siphelele lol was actually thinking about that . Tvwithtinus did say that phils statement was false

@Qavile he really said that?  But where does he get those numbers from? Because he even went on to "correct" a news outlet miquoting his numbers saying 1.8 million instead of 1.08 million.

Also super sports (Ss2) games don't even make top30. They should bring the channel to acces package, i mean those people pay and don't even get to watch psl games. The only time match will be broadcast on 209 is when sabc1 also showing it.

Phil was saying the MissSA pageant peaked at 1m views throughout the 3 hour broadcast. So is that the difference maybe? Or these numbers are counted differently each time? I think with Supersport they are not more about viewers but more on subscribers coz if that were the case even the Rugby world cup channels on Premium would be open. They get guaranteed revenue from subscribers
