Lookout for a double debut on Smoke & Mirrors this week with the arrival of Tiny and Khanyo, two new characters spotted in the latest teasers.
Khanyo is first mentioned at
the end of November and
Tiny in December but both get tongues wagging from this week.
Mbalenhle Cele is first seen tonight, 27 November, as Sakhile's youngest sister Tiny, and Phindile Gwala arrives tomorrow as The Black Widow.
e.tv describes not-so-Tiny as a fun, feisty, vibrant, biggish girl who believes she's God's gift to the world. She's ambitious and a hustler and does what she needs to do to get ahead.
Phindile's Black Widow Khanyo is more of a mystery because no-one has ever seen her in person nor photographed her.
Until now.
Flash facts:
This is the second show that Phindile and Mbalenhle have been in together. They were both in Imbewu where Mbalenhle played Mbali and Phindile portrayed Fikile.
Tiny's name is based on the figure of speech called Antiphrasis where a word is used in a sense that's opposite to its actual meaning for ironic effect.
