Update!
As you may noticed, uBettina Wethu's gone AWOL on e.tv primetime at 18h30, elbowed out by repeats of eKasi: Our Stories.
It moved to eSeries at 18h25 for its first run episodes on Monday 19 February, with repeats remaining on e.tv at 16h35 the following day.
What's going on with it and why? We asked eMedia who tell us that it's moved from e.tv to make way for something new in the 18h30 timeslot, which has seen more changes in the past five years than Bonang's outfits at award shows.
Flashback to the supernaturally short lived Isipho, then the medical emergency of Durban Gen followed by the ill-fated Nikiwe and now Betty's in the rearview mirror.
It's continuing on eSeries until the end of Season 4 on 19 March and we're hearing that it's very likely going to return for Season 5. Strange considering it was replaced with repeats mid-season on e.tv and was nowhere to be seen in
e.tv's Top 20 in January.
Could be that e wants to place more attention on eSeries or they've already signed for it on the dotted line and can't go back now.
