The Masked Winner SA vs Wheel of Misfortune
Season 2 of The Masked Singer SA premiered on S3 on 6 April and recorded a healthy viewership for its most watched episode for the month, with 776,981 viewers - when Real Gold Digger Nonkanyiso “LaConco” Conco was unmasked on 27 April.
In contrast, Wheel of Fortune premiered on S3 on Monday 8 April and is nowhere to be seen in the channel's Top 20. No surprise considering it's been injected into the Skeem Saam/Scandal! war at 19h30.
The Skeem Saam \ Scandal! war
See how Skeem Saam's viewership number for its most watched episode returned to its pre-19h30 move numbers, even managing a slight increase of 8,000 viewers from February 2024 when it still aired at 18h30.
This must have been assisted by the loadshedding situation.
That said, it's audience share has dropped further, down from March, decreasing by 2.9%.
Scandal! also increased its viewership from March but remains well down on its pre-19h30 numbers.
It also dropped another two spots in the channel's Top 20 list, losing position 3 to Isiphetho: Destiny and Smoke & Mirrors.
It's audience share also decreased dramatically, dropping by 6.6%.
