After capturing an audience when Michael invited fans to cook a nightly dinner with him live on Food Network Kitchen's Facebook page, the show became a hit, with Michael sharing family recipes and stories using pantry-friendly ingredients with step-by-step cooking instructions for viewers at home.
Joined by his wife Liz, social media manager Liv, and frequent appearances by his puppy Norman, Michael returns with 10 self-shot episodes showcasing some of his favourite outdoor dishes and cooking techniques perfect for summer, while demonstrating how simple and fun it is to make amazing meals at home.
Over the course of the season Michael shares tips and tricks for working an everyday backyard grill to create amazing, simple meals to make at home.
From grilled foods to unconventional entrées, Michael's passion for cooking is ever on display as is his desire to help viewers create home-cooked dishes for themselves and their families.
In the Season 4 premiere, "Tastes Like Summer": Michael gets corny with some summery dishes.
He kicks dinner off with fried clams with tartar dipping sauce as the main dish before whipping up a corn and avocado salad on the side.
Corn makes a surprise return for dessert when Liz sweetens things up with a sweet corn panna cotta.
In the second episode of the weekly double bill, "Mango, Pineapple and Pork. Oh My!": Michael heats things up with a grilled pork tenderloin that's bound to make any meat lover drool.
The pork marinates in brown sugar while he whips up a side of mango slaw, paired with Liz's thirst-quenching and fresh pineapple mango mojito.
