Set in Ilanga, Lesley Musina plays the role of Bonginkosi, the Chief Magistrate, a powerful and wealthy figure in the province.
Bonginkosi is among the top five contenders for the prestigious position of the Constitutional Court (Concourt) Judge.
However, the race takes an unexpected turn when the President adds another candidate to the list, which ends up being Bonginkosi's wife, Judge Nobantu Khumalo, played by Pam Zulu.
A trailblazer in the legal world, Nobantu accepts the nomination, fully aware that her husband will oppose it.
As Nobantu and Bonginkosi race for the same position, they put on a united front in public, but behind closed doors, their true feelings emerge, leading to intense conflicts.
With their marriage already on shaky ground and their family teetering on the edge of collapse, the question arises: can the Khumalos survive this trial?

Eugene Levy and Dan Levy are set to host the ceremony, marking the first-ever father-son duo to do so.
Sh?gun leads all programs with 25 nominations, followed by The Bear with 23 (the most ever for a comedy series in a single year, breaking the record previously held by 30 Rock, which received 22 in 2009).
Netflix leads all networks with 107 nominations.
