Official trailer: Silo 2

Take a step outside, breathe the air deep into your lungs and imagine what it feels like to be locked up inside a silo for life.

Oh wait, we don't need to imagine it... it happened to us all in lockdown!

What was true and what was a lie? And what awaits Silo's Juliette Nicols now that she's been blackmailed into leaving the silo for The Outside?

Last we saw she was wondering a wasteland filled with silo after silo, with a city skyline in the background.

This revealed that there are many others who believe their society's laws are there to protect them - as she did, before she started questioning this while investigating the death of her lover George.

The Season 2 trailer has just been released by AppleTV+ in the build-up to its premiere on 15 November and it reveals important information like the fact that Juliette's still alive - duh!

Obvious to us yes, but not to those in the silo who've been told it's impossible to survive once you leave it.

The trailer suggests that there's going to be a rebellion when the lie of their lives gets exposed to them.

Staircases of raging, informed people taking the power back from the evil, powerful few while Juliette looks super as always.

From the looks of it she's going to return to the silo to tell the truth of what she's seen and to investigate more, gaining secretive entry through the door underneath it.

There aren't many new actors joining the cast as major characters - only cray cray Steve Zahn (The White Lotus) - so we don't forsee Juliette going to another silo. Yet.

See if you agree with our interpretation.

A series synopsis in case you missed Season 1:

Silo tells the story of the last 10,000 people on earth and their mile-deep home that supposedly protects them from the toxic and deadly world outside.

However, no one knows when or why the silo was built and those who try to find out face fatal consequences.

Juliette is an engineer who seeks answers about a loved one’s murder and tumbles onto a mystery that goes far deeper than she could have ever imagined, leading her to discover that if the lies don’t kill you, the truth will.

Rebecca Ferguson stars as Juliette.

Returning with her for Season 2 are: Tim Robbins, Common, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash, Alexandria Riley, Shane McRae, Remmie Milner, Clare Perkins, Billy Postlethwaite, Rick Gomez, Caitlin Zoz, Tanya Moodie and Iain Glen.
