There are two new shows starting tonight and one show is ending.

STARTING

SHOW: Everybody Hates Chris

Channel: SABC1 Season: 1 Time: 19h00 Episodes: 22
Everybody Hates Chris was supposed to start two weeks ago but was delayed by the FIFA World Cup in Germany.

It starts tonight - we hope. You never know these days.

The show is based on the real life experiences of comedian Chris Rock, who narrates the series.

Everybody Hates the Pilot:

Uprooted to a new neighbourhood and bussed to a predominantly white middle school two-hours away by his strict, hard-working parents, Chris struggles to find his place while keeping his siblings in line at home and dealing with the school bully, Joey.

SHOW: Project Runway

Channel: M-Net Series Season: 2 Time: 19h00 Episodes: 11
The second season of Project Runway starts off with a look at the casting process that lands 14 contestants a chance to become the next great American fashion designer.

A week before arriving in Manhattan, 16 semifinalists are given 6 yards of plain white fabric and $20 to create an outfit that best represents who they are as a fashion designer.

On arrival in New York, the designers quickly size each other up before they're told to have their models ready for the first runway competition - in just two hours!

The stress and anxiety of the tight timeline eats at each of them but especially Season 1's Daniel Franco, who has returned for vindication.

After the show, the judges ask the contestants to defend their designs.

In the end, two are sent packing, and the final 14 cast members are in place.

ENDING

SHOW: Extreme Makeover: Home Edition

Channel: M-Net Series Season: 1 Time: 22h00 Replaced by: Extreme Makeover: HE (2)
The first season of Extreme Makeover: HE ends tonight, with the second part of the two-hour-long special called Friends Helping Friends.

Part 1 aired last week.

Ty Pennington and his team respond when they are asked by New York City firefighters to renovate the apartment of two other firefighters who lost their colleagues in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

Ty's team has only 12 hours to complete the renovation and any mistakes will be seen on live television.

Regis Philbin and members of the NHL's New York Rangers step in to help.
