This a mouthful so put your concentration glasses on: It's a co-production between M-Net and MultiChoice, Strong Studios, Convergent Media and ForLan Films. You don't want to have to keep up on their Zoom calls. The screenplay is by Jake Riddell, who contributed to the writing on M-Net's other co-production Reyka. It's produced by Stuart Urban, who wrote and produced the true life drama The Secret, about the Sunday school teacher and dentist who had an affair and murdered their partners. Was good. No word on the cast yet. We presume Kasselman will be played by a South African and Smith by a British actor. James Purefoy maybe - he plays sneery, posh-evil well. Captain Kassie Kasselman's described as a "crack detective despite appearances," - suggests the role needs someone who's a bit of a mess. Who?
