Bio
Miranda Garrison (born 1950) is an American actress and choreographer, best known for choreographing dozens of films. She worked on Mulholland Falls, and was assistant choreographer in the 1987 film Dirty Dancing, where she also played the part of Vivian Pressman.
Miranda has an extensive dance background, having choreographed the “lift” and “underarm stroke” sequences in the film.
Miranda frequently collaborates with seasoned choreographer Kenny Ortega, who constructed routines for the Disney franchise High School Musical.
She has previously worked with Madonna, Jennifer Lopez and Black Eyed Peas.
Miranda’s other movie credits include Xanadu (1980) and The Forbidden Dance (1990).
